INTRODUCTION
UJIA Scholarships for Shalom Hartman Institute's Community Leadership Programme are available for:
Professionals working in the UK Jewish community in fields of youth work and informal or formal education and leadership, and if you are working with young people aged between 14-35
Help us to inspire young Jews to forge a personal relationship with Israel so that every Jew in the UK feels a strong sense of belonging to the Jewish people.
This year, there will be two CLP sessions:
- CLP Session 1: Wednesday, June 24 – Tuesday, June 30, 2026
- CLP Session 2: Wednesday, July 1 – Tuesday, July 7, 2026
Scholarships are only available for Cohort 1.

UJIA SCHOLARSHIPS
The programme cost is typically $3,250 / 11,000 NIS, which the UJIA Scholarship will cover.
The programme fee includes all educational materials, seminar programming, weekly morning snacks, daily lunches and most dinners, Shabbat meals, evening lectures, cultural activities, and one full-day excursion with field trip options throughout Israel.
Please note the default UJIA Scholarship does not cover accommodation or flights. We encourage you to access professional development funding through your organisation.
If required, the UJIA Scholarship can contribute towards the costs of flights and accommodation for the duration of the programme. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and may require additional documentation.
